Our story. Since we can remember we have been playing in the Canadian Rockies: skiing, snowboarding, climbing, paragliding, biking, hiking and just having a great time. After many years of working in the technical outdoor gear industry we determined to start a premium quality all-mountain apparel line based on no-compromise function in any condition, comfortable fit-on-body, and style for life on the go. Connecting our backcountry experiences, technical expertise, and creative inspiration we formed Westcomb in 2005.

To reach our goal to create for you gear with both uncompromising technical ability with appealing style and fit, we realized we needed to trust and empower the user with our design. So we went to work, from the Whistler chair lift to the Cain hut in the Bugaboos asking our friends - guides, industry professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, folks like you - what their ultimate garment would be. At the end of the day, it came down to comfortable fabric, artisan workmanship, and no-gimmicks functionality. And it had to work, really work.
